Damion is a Senior Accountant at Malatesta CPA and Associates and brings a unique mix of professional, academic, and life experience to the team. Originally from Green Cove Springs, Florida, he is an Army Veteran who has traveled to countries including Germany, France, Prague, Poland, and the United Kingdom. Before joining the Army, he played college football for two years at Southern Nazarene University. He earned both his B.S. in Sport Administration and MBA from the University of Louisville. Damion is also a certified EMT in Kentucky and Florida and enjoys volunteering, traveling, watching sports, and learning new things.



Damion began his career as a Government Financial Auditor at a family-owned accounting firm, working with government entities from Federal Milk Markets to Fiscal Courts and Non-profit Organizations. He has deep understanding of GAAP and Government accounting systems.



His experience has allowed him to find the hidden leaks, the weak points, and the compliance risks that others miss. Transfer that experience into helping build a new system that solved those flaws and optimize cash flow.
